 MRFC Blanks IMF 3 NIL!

With 3 subs on the bench and the right players we went back to the 4-3-3 and dominated IMF who really had no chance in the Match.  With Daniel, B and Totti up top with Christian Vince and Carlos holding down the middle IMF had no defense for our lethal offense.  Carlos found Totti on a thru ball.  1 on 1 with the keeper, however the keeper was at the outside part of the D when Totti shot.  Yellow card.  A few moments later Corner Kick and Carlos just missed B on a header but did find Daniel who buried in the net 1-nil.  Carlos was having an off night and kept losing his second touch.  He was about to pull himself when he made a run from the middle and Vince found him with a thru ball.  Carlos took 3 dribbles and passed it by the keeper for 2-nil.  Mirnes, Sammy and Ever held the Central defese down while Darrell, Chris and Juele caused havoc on the flanks from the back.  Darrell blasted one from about 35 out only to see it bounce off the crossbar.  Vince found Totti in the box.  Totti wiggled his way around 2 defenders and blasted it past the keeper for 3-nil.  Vince, Darrell Totti and Daniel have made the side.  We are still looking at Julio who played well in the middle.  Come out and watch us play at Wakefield High 830 Thursday night!  The 2 #1 sides will battle it out!

Mando Ramos whom the club is named after died of respiratory arrest Sunday July 6, 2008, he was 59.  Armando "Mando" Ramos was a 2 time Lightweight Boxing Champion with a record of 37-11-1 with 23 knockouts.  He turned his life around from drugs and alcohol abuse during his time in boxing to give back to the community and started the Boxing Against Alcohol And Drugs Foundation.  He was a great warrior in the ring and we are honored to be named after such a man.
